Your information, and what I do with it.

This page explains what I keep about you, why I keep it, who else sees it, and what you can ask me to do with it.

Who I am

I'm Heather, and I run Heather's Beauty House on my own in Potton, Bedfordshire. That makes me the person responsible for your information. You can reach me at heathersbeautyhouse03@gmail.com or on 07925 839000.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies or ask you to fill anything in. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify you. The map is a picture saved on this site.

The company that hosts this website keeps short technical records, such as your IP address (your device's internet address) and which page you asked for, to keep the site running and secure. If you press "Directions", Google Maps opens and its own privacy policy applies.

When you book

When you message me on WhatsApp, call or email, I'll have your name, your number or email address, and whatever you tell me, such as the treatment you'd like and the days that suit you. I use it to arrange and confirm your appointment, and to let you know if anything changes. I need it to give you the treatment you've asked for.

Your messages are also held by the service you send them through: WhatsApp (run by Meta) or email (I use Gmail, run by Google).

Your deposit

I take a 20% deposit to book. I only use your payment details to take the deposit and the rest of the price.

Your health

Every treatment starts with a consultation. If you tell me about anything to do with your health, such as allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy or medication, I only use it to make sure the treatment is safe and right for you, and I only keep it with your agreement.

Who else sees it

Nobody else, apart from the services above. I don't sell your information or pass it on for marketing. The only exceptions are my insurer, Hiscox, if there were ever a claim, or if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

For as long as you keep coming to me. After that, only as long as I need it for my insurance or because the law says so, and then I delete it.

What you can ask me to do

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. If you agreed to something, such as me keeping your health notes, you can change your mind at any time. Email or message me and I'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If any of this changes, I'll update this page. Last updated October 2026.
